Welcome to the new BACF website!

BACF was established 15 years ago to grant seed money to charitable organizations in the Barrington area for the purpose of initiating or expanding programs and projects that address unmet needs in our community.  Each year we plan to grant five percent of our assets based on a five-year rolling average.  Since issuing our first grant in 2000 – and including the $127,000 we granted in 2012 – we have invested $858,390 in our community. 

BACF addresses a wide range of unmet needs in our community in the areas of Human Services, Healthcare, Education, Art & Culture, Environment and Economic Development.  We are in a unique position to determine which new programs will best serve our area.

Our new website is designed to provide the latest updates on BACF as well as link visitors to programs and organizations that serve our community.  We look forward to highlighting those organizations that have significant impact on our community while providing grantees and donors electronic access to BACF.
